Lippitts in Action

Affectionately known as “Colonel,” is a versatile Lippitt Morgan trained both to ride and drive. His owner’s first Lippitt stallion and treasured heart horse. His versatility, companionship, and lasting influence have made him an especially meaningful representative of the breed.

Affectionately known as “Cowboy,” he has been enjoyed as a trail horse, giving his rider the opportunity to experience the Lippitt Morgan’s intelligence, strength, and adventurous spirit outside the arena. Cowboy now has a new owner exploring the show world.

Whirlwinds Admiral has been a trusted family trail horse and a wonderful ambassador for the Lippitt Morgan. A steady “husband horse” who has safely carried the children as well, Admiral introduced his owner to a lifelong love of Lippitts. He has also served as a patient and dependable mentor to the family’s younger Lippitt horses, helping them gain confidence and experience.

“Oaky” ridden by Anna-Louise Smith, has demonstrated his versatility in both English and western competition. He has competed in eventing, including dressage, cross-country, and show jumping, and qualified for the USEA National Young Horse Eventing Championships. Oaky has also competed in ranch horse cattle sorting, demonstrating the athleticism, intelligence, and adaptability of the Lippitt Morgan.

A versatile, do-it-all partner with success in Omoksee pattern racing, English and Western showing, barrel racing, sorting, and trail riding. Highlights include a 2025 40+ Women’s Omoksee buckle, Reserve All-Around honors, and multiple year-end and show high-point awards.

Training Level Dressage

Aliy excels at liberty work and performs a variety of tricks, showcasing her intelligence and engaging personality. She has competed in driving events, participated in mountain trail rides, and enjoys interacting with barn visitors with disabilities. Her dependable and versatile nature along with her people-loving character have made her a wonderful Lippitt ambassador.

A multi-disciplined Lippitt stallion: Tyrant compete in driving, dressage, jumping, combined training.

Successfully shown in dressage, eventing, working hunter, and sport horse suitability. His early career included strong dressage scores, a clean cross-country performance, USEF All-Breeds recognition, and Morgan Dressage Association championship honors.

April completed several 25-mile endurance rides with her first owner before becoming a trusted trail companion in the Rocky Mountains, where she truly loved to be.

Shooter is one of those versatile, do-it-all horses. He competed in both 30- and 50-mile endurance rides, earning first place in a 50-mile ride, and regularly enjoyed outdoor adventures in his home state of Maine.

Luke has worked on the ranch, competed in Ranch Horse Versatility, and earned three reining championships.

AKA Wallace at just 4 years old with no competition experience and his first time being ridden in company took to dancing in the sand down at Werribee at The Victorian Dressage Festival like an absolute champion and took every aspect of this big atmosphere in his stride. Over the two days, receiving in round 1 a 66.6% and round 2 a 65.8% giving him 3rd place overall.
